The Beautiful Side of the Great Ice Storm of 2008
Happy Holidays to you all! After a few days without power, I went searching for scenes that showed the beautiful side of the ice storm. I want to post a couple here, and a few more on my flicker site http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrgrosky. This one was captured with my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 at an ISO of 100, an aperture of 3.4, and a shutter speed of 1/800. The power blackout plus a couple of weeks preparing for my first ever two craft fairs pulled me away from my photo blog, but I’m back now. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and best wishes to all those who celebrate other winter holidays like Ramadan, Kwanza, Dwali, St. Lucia’s Day, Los Posadas, and Chinese New Year. May the New Year bring peace, health, wisdom, and joy to you all and to all nations of the world.
